The Master of Science in Health Science degree will acknowledge the accomplishments of graduate students in professional programs in the School of Health Sciences who are unable to complete the full program due to extenuating circumstances. Although this occurs rarely, on occasion, students are unable to pass components of their program, face personal or family health issues or are unable to pass licensing examinations, any of which would preclude them from completing their degree requirements and career path. A Master of Health Science in General Studies option will enable them to apply their earned credits to this degree and pursue alternative career pathways. Students will not be able to apply directly into the Master of Health Science in General Studies program.
