Quinnipiac School of Law has partnered with Vermont Law School to offer students the exciting opportunity to earn a Dual-Degree Juris Doctor/Master of Climate & Environmental Policy (JD/MCEP). Students in the program earn their JD from Quinnipiac and their MCEP from Vermont Law. The program can be completed in three academic years, the same amount of time typically needed to earn the JD degree alone.
This flexible program allows students to pursue their MCEP coursework online or on campus during the summer. A number of Quinnipiac law courses have been approved to satisfy the requirements of both programs. In addition, students will be allowed to transfer 6 credits of their Vermont Law MCEP coursework toward their Quinnipiac JD graduation requirements.
The joint degree requires a 34-credit program (including required courses), comprising: Vermont Law MCEP courses (22 credits), required non-credit skills modules, and Quinnipiac Law courses (from approved course list) (up to 12 credits).
